sometimes i think about s1 scott and cosima and how they really just had classes together and were lab partners and then how over the course of s2 we get to literally watch the steps of their friendship and how they get closer up until the point where cosima has come so long and so far away from the ‘new girl who didn’t have any friends.’ even when she told sarah that, there was scott, but she didn’t cosider him a friend at the time and then after all of this time spent together, we actually get to see scott become cosima’s rock, quite literally, as he holds her up when she’s too weak to stand and then is willing to put himself at risk to help her save her sister. that dynamic seems so simple that it could easily fall by the wayside but they went from lab partners to co-workers to friends to best friends right before our eyes and i don’t care what anyone else says about the other friendships on the show because scotsima is my ultimate brotp and i really hope they bring josh back to play scott because holy wow they are just the absolute best
